FIRED UP is a part of a series of 12 stripe sport themed colourways. This colourway has 4 colours the 6 stripes alternate black and yellow, the other 6 alternate between red and white.. You will also receive a co-ordinating mini-skein for your toes/heels/cuffs in the red. Each stripe is approximately 4 rows depending on gauge on a 64 st. sock.
When I first dyed this colourway I posed a name suggestion post to Instagram and many responded that it reminded them of the Maryland state flag, racing, fire and rescue, deck of cards, camp fires amongst other things. I thought the name FIRED UP would relate to many of these suggestions.
1 skein of self-striping sock yarn (in this case approx 85g stripes 30g mini) is enough to knit a pair of socks in most sizes up to a men's US 10.5. If you will be knitting larger socks I recommend the 145g skein.
